Adele Ramos is originally from the Boogie - Down Bronx, Yet has spent a good portion of her life growing up in the Hudson Valley Region of New York. As a woman of Puerto Rican decent she holds great pride in her ethnic background. Her family is the core of her foundation. Growing up Adele had a tough childhood and was faced with a great deal of adversity including a five-year battle with cancer. The three great forces that helped her overcome and move forward in life were poetry, the support of her family & friends and faith.

Adele started writing poetry in grammar school and found something magical about the power of rhythm and words. Her creative nature and passion for poetry has been a driving force ever since. Now at 27 she is still writing poetry and performing spoken word. She has performed at many venues in and around New York and has been a featured poet at SUNY Oswego. She has also shared her work on Capicu Poetry Series in Brooklyn NYC. She is also slated to appear at serveral venues around NYC. Her work is a refection of her personal life as well as a social commentary. Her strong and charming carisma, enlightens and empowers all who feel her words.
